SPACE GAMEROOM Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

This Agreement sets forth the terms and conditions for using the services provided by SPACE GAMEROOM (the “Site”), including online reservations, rental of spaces and game equipment, and additional services.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  • Member: A user who agrees to these Terms and registers by providing personal information
  • Service Agreement: The contract formed between the site and the member regarding service usage
  • ID: A unique combination of characters and numbers used to identify members
  • Password: A confidential code created by the member to protect their ID and identity
  • Administrator: The site operator (sole proprietor: Hyoseon Yoon)
  • Termination: The act of a member ending the service agreement

Article 3 (Supplementary Provisions)

The site may post separate policies such as the Privacy Policy. If any conflict arises between these Terms and an operational policy, the latter shall prevail.

Matters not specified herein shall follow the applicable laws of the Republic of Korea, including the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, and Personal Information Protection Act.

Article 4 (Formation of Agreement)

The service agreement is formed when a user agrees to the Terms during the registration process and the administrator approves it.

Clicking “I Agree” constitutes electronic consent under the Electronic Documents and Transactions Act.

Article 5 (Service Application)

Members must provide accurate information such as ID, password, nickname, and contact details during registration.

If false or stolen information is used, the member may lose all rights and be subject to legal penalties.

Article 6 (Personal Information Protection)

The site uses encryption and other appropriate safeguards. Passwords are not accessible to the administrator.

For collection, use, storage, and destruction of personal data, refer to the Privacy Policy.

The site is not responsible for information leaks due to the member’s own negligence.

Article 7 (Administrator Obligations)

The administrator strives to resolve legitimate feedback promptly and restore system errors without delay.

In cases of force majeure or maintenance, services may be suspended with prior or subsequent notice.

Article 8 (Member Obligations)

Members must comply with these Terms and related laws, and not infringe upon the rights of others.

ID and password must be kept secure; members are responsible for any negligence in management.

Article 9 (Service Hours)

The service is available 24/7, except during maintenance, system upgrades, or unavoidable circumstances.

In emergencies such as power outages, services may be suspended without prior notice but will be announced promptly.

Article 10 (Termination)

Members may terminate the agreement via My Page. Personal data will be processed and destroyed in accordance with applicable laws.

Article 11 (Service Restrictions)

The site may restrict or terminate service if a member engages in the following:

  • Providing false information during registration
  • Disrupting others or stealing personal data
  • Impersonating staff or administrators
  • Violating others’ rights or site policies
  • Engaging in illegal acts or breaching applicable laws

Article 12 (Content Management)

Members are responsible for their posts. The administrator may remove or relocate inappropriate content based on reports or violations.

Content reported for defamation or copyright issues may be suspended or removed as per the Information and Communications Network Act and government decisions.

Article 13 (Content Retention)

In case of service closure, the administrator will provide prior notice and assist in content migration to the extent possible.

Article 14 (Copyrights)

Copyrights belong to the original poster. The site may use content for non-commercial purposes within service operation scope.

Members may not use or distribute service content for commercial purposes without permission.

Article 15 (Liability)

If a member causes damage to the site or others due to intent or negligence, they are liable for compensation.

The site is not liable for damages due to natural disasters or non-intentional system failures.

Article 16 (Disclaimer)

The site is not liable for damages from the use of information provided, or disputes between users or third parties.


Article 17 (Reservation, Refund, and Deposit Policy)

Service Information

  • Inquiries via Naver TalkTalk: Daily from 10:00 to 20:00
  • Check-in info: Sent via SMS 1 hour before reservation time
  • Duplicate reservations: First confirmed reservation is prioritized

Even immediate cancellations after confirmation are subject to the above policy.

Refunds are processed within 3 business days via the provided account or original payment method.

Deposit Policy

  • Deposit: KRW 100,000 (required upon reservation approval)
  • Refund: Returned in full within 24 hours if no damage, loss, or contamination
  • Damages will be deducted from the deposit or separately invoiced
  • Processing may take up to 3 business days due to bank procedures

User Guidelines

  • Minors under 19 may only book “Day Package” with guardian consent. Other packages are restricted.
  • Pets, cooking, and outside food must follow separate site policies.
  • Members are liable under Civil Law Article 750 for willful damage to facilities or equipment.

Appendix

  • This agreement is effective as of June 10, 2025.
  • It applies equally to members who joined before the revision date (June 3, 2025).
  • All changes will be announced at least 7 days prior (30 days for significant changes).

Legal Notice

This Terms of Service is based on Articles 13, 17, 21, and 24 of the “Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce” of the Republic of Korea. It aims to ensure fair protection of customer rights regarding reservations, refunds, deposits, and personal data.

In the event of a dispute, you may apply for mediation through the Korea Content Dispute Resolution Committee (KCDRC) .
